Shlomo Kramer
President and CEO, Imperva

In 2006, Shlomo Kramer was selected by Network World magazine as one of 20 luminaries who changed the network industry.

Prior to founding Imperva, Kramer co-founded Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. in 1993. At Check Point, he served in various executive roles through 1998 and as a member of the board of directors through 2003. While at Check Point, Kramer played a key role in defining and creating several category-defining products and solutions, including FireWall-1, VPN-1, FloodGate-1, Check Point's OPSEC alliance, and Check Point's security appliance program.

He has participated as an early investor and board member in a number of security and enterprise software companies including Palo Alto Networks, Trusteer, Confidela, and Worklight. Kramer received a Masters degree in Computer Science from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.

Rakesh K. Loonkar
President

Rakesh is a private investor focusing on early stage Internet security companies. He was the Vice President of North American Sales at NetScreen Technologies (acquired by Juniper Networks) where he was responsible for the team that included Enterprise and Channel Sales as well as Systems Engineering. At NetScreen, Rakesh's team was responsible for over $120m of revenue with a quarterly bookings growth rate of more than 15%.

Prior to NetScreen, Rakesh was the co-founder of OneSecure (acquired by NetScreen) and served as its founding CEO and Vice President of Business Development and International Sales. Prior to OneSecure, Rakesh was the co-founder and CEO of InfoSolv, a San Francisco based security integrator. Rakesh is also an investor in Palo Alto Networks, Securent, Mu Security, and Mi5 Networks. Rakesh earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Steve Krausz
USVP

Steve Krausz who joined USVP in 1985, has a background deeply rooted in information technology. Steve's eight years of operating experience with NASA Ames, BTI Computers, Direct Inc. and Daisy Systems have served him well as an advisor to many leading network vendors, customers, investors, and start-ups. Steve is a frequent panelist and moderator at many industry and engineering events and forums. At USVP, Steve has focused on communications, Internet Infrastructure, networking and enterprise software. He has led the Firm's investments in, Occam Networks, Accelerated Networks, Verity, Rasna, Xylan, Applied Digital Access, Elantec and Micro Linear, all of which became public companies.

Steve was a Board Observer with many successful companies such as Checkpoint Software, Harmonic, and Stratacom. He served on the Boards of Directors of EPIC Design Technologies and Photon Dynamics. Currently he is on a number of private USVP investments including, Agility Communications, Xponent, Megapath, Sierra Monolithics, Object Reservoir, Stratalight, Ceyba Systems, Gluon Networks, Performance Retail, Kasenna, Notiva, Imperva, Synfora and Pathfire. He is a Board of Director Observer with Electric Cloud, New Focus, Checkpoint, and Stratacom. Steve is also on the Board as Treasurer at the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Steve holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Stanford Business School, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar

Mickey Boodaei
CEO

Prior to founding Trusteer, Mickey Boodaei co-founded and held the position of Vice President of EMEA sales for Imperva, Inc. Mickey grew EMEA sales from zero to 40% of company revenues in less than 18 months. Prior to that, Mickey was Imperva’s Vice President of Product Management and Technical Services. In this role, Mickey was responsible for defining and creating several category defining products in the fields of application and database security. Prior to Imperva, Mickey was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Edvice - an application and database security consulting group.

Edvice provided advanced security services to major financial institutions including penetration testing, security architecture design and implementation of security features for Web-based applications. Mickey also served for six years as a security research engineer in the Israel Defense Forces. There, he worked on security design, penetration testing, and basic research in the fields of application and database security. He holds a B.Sc. degree from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Ben-Gurion University.
